From Daniel Herrera in 2nd grade class, NOTRE DAME SCHOOL OF SANTO DOMINGO, Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic - How is the weather in Kilimanjaro mountain? The weather varies greatly. As you read in our journal entry above, today it is very cool, cloudy, we are shrouded in clouds and we cannot see very far. We hope that before we reach the summit we climb above the clouds. Typically September and October are warmer than other months and it is a good time to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. In April, May, November and early December it rains often and sometimes snows.
